
Dauphin Woman Charged After Pedestrian Struck Multiple Times in Shocking Attack
A 29-year-old Dauphin woman faces multiple charges after allegedly striking a pedestrian repeatedly and assaulting a bystander. Both victims survived with non-life-threatening injuries

A shocking and disturbing incident unfolded in Dauphin late last night, leaving the community stunned. Manitoba RCMP confirmed that a 29-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly striking a pedestrian multiple times with her vehicle on the 100-block of Main Street.
According to police reports, the man was first clipped by the vehicle, but when he tried to escape, the suspect reportedly struck him again. Witnesses say she then exited the vehicle and assaulted the man while he was on the ground. A bystander who tried to intervene was also allegedly attacked during the confrontation.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to RCMP. Officers quickly responded and were able to locate the suspect within hours. She now faces 10 serious charges, including attempted murder, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation causing bodily harm, uttering threats, and failing to stop after an accident.
“This was a violent and completely unacceptable act,” said RCMP officials. “We urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward to ensure the safety of our community.”
The accused remains in custody as the investigation continues. This alarming event has served as a stark reminder for Dauphin residents to remain vigilant and aware of their surroundings.
